Jefferies brings on Thomas Mordrelle

Jefferies has appointed Thomas Mordrelle from ABN AMRO as its senior vice president, based in London.

In his new role, Mordrelle will focus on all aspects of the securities financing business, Delta One and options.

Based in London, Mordrelle will report to Derryn Hobbs, managing director at Jefferies.

At ABN AMRO Bank, Mordrelle served most recently as executive director between April 2018 and December 2019 as part of a 12-year stint at the Dutch bank.

Mordrelle also worked in other roles at ABN AMRO including director, securities finance; equity finance trader; prime brokerage, securities lending and over the counter trader.

Before that, Mordrelle also worked at Societe Generale between 2006 and 2007. Initially, he joined as a sales assistant on foreign exchange and fixed income derivatives before moving on to becoming a sales trader in equity finance.
