FRSGlobal bids for Lombard Risk

FRSGlobal, a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer has made a takeover approach for collateral management software provider Lombard Risk.
Discussions are at a preliminary stage, said Lombard Risk, and there is no guarantee that a formal offer will be made. Any offer will not include shares in Wolters Kluwer.
In the year to 2011, Lombard Risk had profits of £0.6 million. It recently announced a major contract with SocGen, worth an estimated £2 million.
