Illinois pension fund adds Deutsche for sec lending

The State Universities Retirement System Board of Trustees (SURS) voted on 26 April 26 to retain Northern Trust as provider of custodial services for the organisation.

In addition, the board voted to hire Deutsche Bank to act as the system’s securities lending agent. As directed by the board, SURS has chosen to implement a risk-averse strategy while continuing to maintain a lending program.
