The International 麻豆传媒 Lending Association (ISLA) has confirmed that after 12 years with the entity, Andrew Dyson, CEO of ISLA, has decided to step down from his role.

This news follows a 鈥渓engthy period of proactive discussions鈥 between Dyson and the ISLA board of directors, who 鈥渇ully support his decision and the desire to pursue other interests鈥.

He will remain in the role for the foreseeable time and will continue to work closely with the ISLA management team and board on delivering the agreed near-term strategy for the Association.

At the same time, he is supporting the board in the formal process to identify his successor, with the assistance of an external executive search agency.

Dyson first joined ISLA in 2013 as chief operating officer, later taking on the role of CEO in 2016.

Over his tenure, he has been instrumental in providing and implementing a strategic vision for the Association, leading to its continued growth in both size and geographical footprint, ISLA says.

More recently, Dyson played a key role in the establishment of the Association鈥檚 affiliate entity, ISLA Americas. This milestone was the culmination of a long-term ambition to provide a unified voice for the industry across EMEA and the Americas.

Commenting on Dyson鈥檚 departure, Ina Budh-Raja, chair of the board, says: 鈥淥n behalf of the board, I would like to thank Andy for his outstanding commitment and contribution to ISLA, its members, and the wider industry.

鈥淎ndy has been a pillar of our industry for many years, and it has been a privilege to work alongside him to advocate and push forward our industry.

鈥淚 look forward to working with Andy over the coming period to minimise disruption and ensure the organisation continues to offer market leading support to its members.鈥

Dyson comments: 鈥淲hen I joined ISLA in 2013, I could not have imagined the journey that we would embark upon to where we are today.

鈥淎s I look in a different direction personally, I am proud to have led this organisation during its most transformative years and I would like to take this moment to thank the group here for their support for everything that we do at the association. It has been an unforgettable 12 years.鈥
