IHS Markit nabs Bedford-Forde for EMEA sales

IHS Markit has poached Charlie Bedford-Forde from Clearstream to manage its sales activity across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Bedford-Forde will focus on IHS Markit’s data and analytics products within its equities division, as well as working on the data provider’s joint venture with Pirum for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Financing Transactions Regulation.
At Clearstream, Bedford-Forde was head of global securities finance relationship management for the UK, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
He first joined Clearstream in 2007 as a connectivity officer.
Bedford-Forde continues to be based in London and reports to Jennifer Theiss, IHS Markit’s global head of equity sales in New York.
