EXCLUSIVE: Sharegain welcomes former Morgan Stanley MD to board

Sharegain has appointed former Morgan Stanley managing director Alex Ehrlich to its board of directors.
The UK-Israeli fintech firm with offices in London and Tel Aviv with a mission to "democratise" the securities lending market.
The platform is aimed at institutional investors, including private banks, asset managers and online brokers, and offers a "turnkey solution that enables them to lends their securities, with full control, transparency and automation, and no upfront cost".
Ehrlich joins the firm following 10 years as global co-head of prime brokerage for the US bank. He also headed the bank鈥檚 global listed derivatives and fund administration businesses and chaired the diversity council of their investment bank.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Ehrlich led or co-led the global prime brokerage businesses of Goldman Sachs and UBS.
In a statement on the hire, Sharegain describes Ehrlich as a 鈥渨ell-known leader in the global capital markets, with a 40-year distinguished career on Wall Street鈥.
On his new role, Ehrlich says: "I am impressed by the strength of Sharegain鈥檚 team and how its technology is beginning to transform the $2.5 trillion securities lending market.
