Nick Gant joins CME Group

Nick Gant has been appointed director of BrokerTec Products, a dealer-to-dealer electronic trading platform for fixed income markets.
Based in London, Gant will report to Kate Karimson, executive director, head of European repo and BrokerTec Quote.
In his new role, Gant will support BrokerTec’s European repo and European government bonds central limit order book, BrokerTec Quote — the disclosed relationship based trading platform — and work on strategic initiatives across the business.
Gant brings more than 30 years of experience in the European repo markets to the role, including his previous role with TFSEdge, where he was head of sales, money markets and repo.
Prior to this, he was head of sales trading and EMEA head of fixed income prime services for Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, between 2016 and 2019.
In 2008, Gant joined Newedge, where he became senior director and European head of repo and securities finance for seven years.
