Pirum hires Marquis to accelerate North American growth

Richard Marquis, an experienced securities finance executive, has joined Pirum鈥檚 New York office as director sales for North America.
According to Pirum, this move is part of the company鈥檚 investment plans in North America, to keep up with increasing client demand for securities finance automation and connectivity solutions.
Marquis brings more than 30 years of experience in leading securities finance trading teams and developing innovative technology solutions across agency lending, prime brokerage, and principal borrowing.
He joins Pirum from MUFG 麻豆传媒, where he ran the 麻豆传媒 Finance Regulatory project for 10c-1a compliance.
Prior to that, he headed Borrow DIRECT at BNY, served as the head of international equity hedge fund demand at J.P. Morgan, and as executive director of international equity prime brokerage at UBS.
