Kevin McNulty, head of RegTech Solutions, is to depart EquiLend after three years with the global financial technology firm.

Based in London, he has been responsible for the development and expansion of the firm’s regulatory technology solutions.

McNulty first joined EquiLend Europe in 2021 as a consultant supporting its executive management team.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the securities lending industry, which includes his previous role as CEO of the International Â鶹´«Ã½ Lending Association (ISLA), which he had served in for seven years.

Notably, McNulty also held a 12-year tenure at Barclays Global Investors, Europe during which he led the securities lending team.

Commenting on his departure in an online statement, McNulty says: “After more years than I care to think about I will be retiring (for the last time — an in-joke for those that know me!) at the end of the year.

“It’s been quite a journey and I’ve been lucky to work in some exceptional firms (EquiLend, ISLA, Barclays Global Investors and Prudential/ M&G), and with some amazing people — too numerous to mention here. And all in an industry that has treated me well.â€
