The International Â鶹´«Ã½ Lending Association (ISLA) has onboarded Kate McFadden as a senior associate of the regulation and markets team.

Based in London, McFadden will lead on maintaining and publishing ISLA Best Practices, which considers aspects such as legal frameworks and constructs, digital and technology, market operating models, peer associations’ standards, as well as regulatory impacts.

McFadden has a background in market conduct, standards, financial crime, and project management, in addition to a professional qualification in anti-money laundering from the International Compliance Association (ICA).

She joins from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where she served as project management officer (PMO) within data, technology, and innovation.

Prior to that, she worked as a consultant at Treliant, a business consulting firm, for more than three years.

The ISLA Best Practice Handbooks are based on ISLA member consensus from a variety of working groups and ISLA-led initiatives, allowing members and non-members access to general and topic-specific guidance pertaining to the securities lending market.
