Global PSSL adds Al-Araimy as Independent Fintech Counsel

Global Principles for Sustainable Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Lending (Global PSSL) has welcomed Isaac Al-Araimy to the Secretariat as an independent fintech counsel.
In his new role, Al-Araimy will help advance the ABC Score and the work related to fintech advancements for the Global PSSL United Nations Pathways Programme.
As a regulated solicitor, Al-Araimy currently works at a boutique investment bank specialising in mid-market technology mergers and acquisitions advisory deals and late-stage venture investments.
His previous experience includes roles at AllianceBernstein, Schroders, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and Cairn Capital, along with internships at Freshfields, the Bank of England, and Goldman Sachs.
Commenting on his appointment, Al-Araimy says: “Working with Global PSSL on its ABC Score, a key element for its United Nations Pathways Programme and research-bridge project with UN experts, presents an exciting opportunity to enact change and make an impact in the world of sustainable finance.â€

Announced in December, ABC Score is an AI-powered evaluation tool for securities lending and finance, which aims to provide a clear measure of company performance and offer recommendations for improvements.
